The lotteries in PowaDAP allow project owners, community administrators, and influencers to organize dynamics for their followers and/or holders. It is an efficient community activity that also enables the creator to earn a commission.
Currently, the basic lottery format is available (additional formats will be added soon).
Follow the steps below to create a lottery for a token or network coin.
In the side menu click on Lottery > Create Lottery.
Enter the technical data for the lottery and promotional information.
In "Token Address," you can enter the contract address of a token within the selected network (e.g., USDT) or leave it blank to use the network's native currency (e.g., BNB).
In "Ticket Price," you should select the value of each lottery ticket in the chosen token.
In "Max tickets allowed per wallet," you can adjust the maximum number of tickets that a wallet can purchase.
In "Max players allowed," you can define if there will be a maximum limit on the number of wallets that can participate in the lottery. If you leave the value at 0, there will be no limit.
In "Fee address," you can set an address to which a percentage of the lottery pool commission will be sent.
In "Price fee," you can set a commission percentage that will be sent to the "Fee address" once the lottery is completed. The commission cannot exceed 50%.
Then, in "Start date" and "End date," you will set the date and time for the start and end of the lottery.
Afterward, you will have fields to customize the promotional information for your lottery. Here, the only mandatory field is to give it a name, but we recommend completing all possible fields. You can still edit them later.
In the final step, you will need to verify that all the information for the lottery creation is correct.
Once everything is checked, you can click on the 'Generate' button. Metamask will request the creation transaction.
Once the lottery is created, you can click on the 'Go to Dashboard' button to go to created lotteries section.
