Take a look at the steps below to learn how to create a token through our Token Designer tool using your MetaMask wallet.
In the side menu click on Token Designer > Create Token
Once at powadap.com/tokenDesigner/create, select the type of token to create.
Complete the fields related to the selected token type. The different fields available by token type are detailed below.
A standard token provides basic functions such as transfers, balances, approvals, supply queries, and transfer events. These tokens are widely used in smart contracts and decentralized applications, making their exchange and compatibility easier.
a) Token Name: The full name of the asset, for example "Bitcoin".
b) Token Symbol: The acronym or ticket of the asset, for example "BTC".
c) Total Supply: The number of total units that the asset will have when created.
d) Token Decimals: In token smart contracts, the maximum number of decimal units that the asset will have must be fixed. 18 decimal places are recommended as standard.
Standard Token Plus goes beyond the basic functions of a standard token. In addition to the classic features, it incorporates minting and burning systems, allowing for supply reduction. It also includes mechanisms to combat bots and malicious actors, as well as the ability to transfer tokens that are mistakenly sent to the contract. This enhanced token offers greater flexibility and security, making it a valuable asset in smart contracts and decentralized applications, simplifying exchanges and ensuring compatibility.
The fields to create it are the same as the Standard Token.
A "Baby Token" is a type of token that is used to provide automatic rewards to holders of a different token, rather than the same token. The reason behind this name often lies in the fact that these tokens are typically linked to the culture or the name of the "parent token" they are associated with.
a) Token Name: The full name of the asset, for example "Bitcoin".
b) Token Symbol: The acronym or ticket of the asset, for example "BTC".
c) Total Supply: The number of total units that the asset will have when created.
d) Reward Token Address: The token address that will be given to holders as passive rewards.
e) DEX Router: You will need to select the DEX that will use the token internally to swap the rewards token.
f) Marketing Wallet Address: A team address to receive fee income. It cannot be the same address that creates the contract.
g) Rewards Fee Percent: The percentage in whole numbers allocated to the rewards (consider that the total between all fees cannot exceed 25%).
h) Liquidity Fee Percent: The percentage in whole numbers allocated to the liquidity generator (consider that the total between all fees cannot exceed 25%).
i) Marketing Fee Percent: The percentage in whole numbers allocated to marketing (consider that the total between all fees cannot exceed 25%)
j) Minium Tokens Balance for Dividends: Minimum balance of tokens that a holder must have to receive rewards.
A Reflection Token has interesting features in the eyes of investors. It has the following characteristics: Reflections refer to a mechanism through which holders of this type of token automatically receive a small amount of additional tokens as a reward for holding the token in their wallets. This reward is calculated as a percentage of transactions made with the token and is distributed among holders based on their holdings. Additionally, each time a transaction is made with the token, a portion of the transaction is automatically allocated to creating liquidity in a token pair on a decentralized exchange (such as PancakeSwap on BSC). This helps maintain the stability and liquidity of the token in the market, which can be beneficial for holders.
a) Token Name: The full name of the asset, for example "Bitcoin".
b) Token Symbol: The acronym or ticket of the asset, for example "BTC".
c) Total Supply: The number of total units that the asset will have when created.
d) DEX Router: The DEX that will use the token internally to swap the token for his liquidity pair.
e) Marketing Wallet Address: A team address to receive fee income. It cannot be the same address that creates the contract.
f) Reflection Fee Percent: The percentage allocated to Reflection - You can set values between 0.01 to 25 (consider that the total between all fees cannot exceed 25%).
g) Liquidity Fee Percent: The percentage allocated to Liquidity - You can set values between 0.01 to 25 (consider that the total between all fees cannot exceed 25%).
h) Marketing / Charity Fee Percent:
This value cannot be changed later. The percentage allocated to Marketing/Charity - You can set values between 0.01 to 25 (consider that the total between all fees cannot exceed 25%).
Once you have completed the fields correctly, you can click on the "Create Token" button.
MetaMask will show you a banner asking you to confirm the transaction and the fee you must pay for that transaction. If you agree, click the "Confirm" button to finish the process.
In the next section comes another important part to get the most out of the Token Designer tool, you can register the token on our platform.
